Robbie Williams Appears as a Monkey in ‘Better Man‘ Trailer
In Better Man, Robbie Williams’ biopic takes a wild turn—portraying the pop icon as a CGI monkey. Directed by Michael Gracey (The Greatest Showman) and inspired by Williams’ own description of feeling like “a monkey dragged onstage to perform,” Gracey uses this surreal lens to tell the singer’s story.
The film chronicles Williams’ rise as the youngest member of Take That, his fall from grace, and his resurgence as a record-breaking solo artist. Balancing the absurd with the emotional, Better Man captures the challenges of fame and the resilience of a performer with an indomitable spirit.
Early reactions from the Telluride Film Festival suggest the gamble pays off. The surreal choice to present Williams as a monkey adds a layer of whimsy to his story, creating a film that’s both spectacular and deeply personal. As Williams himself quipped, “It shouldn’t work, but it does.”

The exclusive EP includes tracks like “Odyssée Maison,” a luminous house cut, and “Resonances From The D,” a soaring techno anthem.
This deluxe, physical-only release will be available in limited-edition formats, featuring bespoke packaging, colored vinyl, and a collector’s booklet.

Fan’s LEGO recreation of the Daft Punk ‘Alive’ show in 2007 could become a real product
A LEGO recreation of Daft Punk’s iconic Alive 2007 concert could become an official product. Created by Patrick Harboun and his son, the design replicates the duo’s legendary pyramid-shaped stage using 2,000 pieces. Originally conceived during the 2020 lockdown, the project was a “fun father-son collaboration” blending their love for Daft Punk and LEGO.
The set features a rotating box of transparent bricks powered by a motor and lights to replicate the stage’s dynamic effects. Despite winning the Music To Our Ears! competition, it wasn’t selected for production. Now resubmitted on LEGO Ideas, the project needs 10,000 votes for consideration.
Inspired by Daft Punk’s LEGO debut in the upcoming Piece By Piece film with Pharrell Williams, the creators are hoping fans will show “Digital Love” and vote to make it a reality. Fans can vote and watch the set in action on LEGO Ideas.
New Italo disco exhibition coming to Frankfurt’s Museum of Modern Electronic Music
MOMEM (Museum Of Modern Electronic Music) in Frankfurt has launched ITALO DISCO – Never Stop Dancing!, an exhibition running from October 11th to April 2nd. The showcase delves into the origins of Italo disco, celebrating its iconic artists such as Ryan Paris, Sabrina Salerno, and Raf. It also explores the genre’s significant influence on Chicago’s nascent house music scene in the 1980s.
Coinciding with Italy’s special participation in the Frankfurt Book Fair, the exhibition highlights Italo disco’s distinct sound—futuristic rhythms, melodic synths, and sweet string arrangements—that shaped international charts and the iconic Italian megaclubs of the era.
Since its 2022 debut with a Sven Väth exhibition, MOMEM has faced criticism for lacking diversity and failing to sufficiently recognize the Black roots of electronic music. Activists have urged the museum to represent women, non-binary, and Black artists more equitably.

Billie Eilish Says She Never Wants to Talk About Her Sexuality or Dating ‘Ever Ever Ever’ Again
In various interviews, the 22-year-old Grammy winner expressed frustration with how her words are often amplified and scrutinized, leading her to regret sharing intimate details about her personal life.
Eilish has previously spoken candidly about her sexuality, notably in interviews with Variety and Rolling Stone, where she openly discussed her attraction to women and the challenges of navigating self-discovery under the spotlight.
The singer’s latest music, including tracks like “Lunch” and her collaboration with Charli XCX on “Guess,” continues to explore themes of sexuality and self-expression. However, Eilish clarified that these artistic choices do not indicate a willingness to discuss her private life further.
This decision underscores her broader critique of fame’s unnatural expectations, particularly for young people navigating growth in the public eye.

Lizzo wears Ozempic Halloween costume, mocking ‘South Park’ and trolls
Lizzo kicked off Halloween 2024 with a playful and creative costume inspired by the popular animated series South Park. The pop-rap star dressed as a weight-loss drug called “LizzOzempic,” mocking a recent South Park episode that parodied her focus on body positivity.
The South Park episode, titled “The End of Obesity,” humorously portrayed Lizzo as a cheaper alternative to Ozempic, suggesting that listening to her music helps people forget about their weight.
